Community Resources
Due to the economic impact health care facilities have in rural communities, the Eastern North Dakota AHEC has worked to engage community members and organizations to help recruit health professionals to work in their communities. Community members can help by providing housing assistance, mentoring a health professions student, and by doing what they can to make their community a friendly place for visitors. If you would like to request a community meeting or are interested in being a host family for a student, please contact the Eastern North Dakota AHEC for additional information.
