Eastern North Dakota Area Health Education Center (AHEC)

Thank you for visiting the Eastern North Dakota Area Health Education Center (AHEC). The Eastern AHEC works to recruit, educate and sustain health professionals in rural North Dakota. We are “Connecting students to careers, professionals to communities, and communities to better health.”

The Eastern AHEC is contracted with Mayville State University, but housed in Sanford Medical Center – Mayville. The Eastern AHEC region is the largest of the three AHEC's in North Dakota, representing 52 percent of the state's population and serving 21 counties.
